Texas hunts take place in the Palo Duro Canyon on approximately 40,000 Acres. This area is a hidden gem most haven’t heard of. The Palo Duro Canyon is this second largest Canyon in the country. Its rugged terrain and thick cover make for great habitat. There are abundant populations of Aoudad Sheep, Feral Hogs, and Predators.
Aoudad sheep hunts are primarily spot and stalk. Transportation on the ranches is with UTV’s. Once game is spotted it is usually a short hike. Most Aoudad Taken will be between 28” to 34” with the average being just over 30 inches. This hunt should be on every hunter’s bucket list.
Hog and predator hunts are always exciting. Lots of game and no limits makes every hunt enjoyable. Feral hogs in this area are not nocturnal due to the lack of hunting pressure and rugged terrain.
The Lodge sits on the rim of the canyon with outstanding views. There are five bedrooms and three and a half baths in this facility. Along with a large living area and pool room there is plenty of space for everyone.
